Import WooCommerce Historical Data Into LTV Numbers

  1. In LTV Numbers' side menu, click "Upload" to get to the Data Uploader

  2. Click the "Choose File" button

  3. Select the historical sales data CSV from the previous section and click Next

    • Note: if you have multiple files of the same format, you can multiselect them to upload them all at once. Do not mix formats.

  4. In the "Choose Format" dropdown, select "WooCommerce Advanced Order Export CSV"

  5. Click Next then Upload to begin the ingest process

    • Note: this process may take some time to complete

WooCommerce Limitations

  • WooCommerce does not collect UTMs by default

    • Third party plugins such as "HandL UTM Grabber v3" can enable UTM tracking and analysis going forward. It is impossible to recover UTMs from before setup as they have not been saved.

  • Refunds are applied at the order level so they are not attributed to any particular product. WooCommerce refunds will instead be grouped into a product named "WooCommerce Order Refund". Thus a product's net revenue as displayed in LTV Numbers does not include refunds and will therefore be equivalent to gross revenue.
